I’ve visited Joey’s multiple times in various locations, so I was thrilled to discover that they now have a Florida location. My server, Ashley, was incredibly sweet and attentive. I chose to sit at the bar, and she was incredibly helpful, providing me with excellent suggestions and being very hands-on. The location itself is absolutely beautiful, a true testament to the restaurant’s charm. I will definitely come back again!!
1st Time & Definitely Will be a repeat!! Luis our waiter truly recommended his favs (& FYI so genuine not the most expensive ) the blackened chicken & Udon with Chicken katsu (to drink 🍹 Peach Bellini , appetizer crap dip) was AMAZING!! Even the manager Marianna would regularly check to see how we were doing! So refreshing to know that personalized customer service still exists today!!
This was our first visit to Joey Aventura and it certainly won't be our last. Reservations were abundant and easy to make using Google Maps API connection to OpenTable. We selected the main dining area. Parking at The Abbey was readily available. The surface lot was full, but spaces in the garage were plentiful. Our 7:00pm reservation was honored promptly. Our host offered us the a complimentary taste of prosecco. We were shown to our table in the dining area well illuminated by floor to ceiling windows reaching two stories. The venue was greater than half full with a surprising variety of party sizes (couples, families and friend groups). Conversation was easy even though the space felt energetic. The staff was numerous and constantly present on the floor. Our server was enthusiastic to guide us as first time diners. She steered us to a great sharable and two very creative entrees. Our wine selections by the glass were well paired. Over the course of the night at least four staff touched our table. We felt well served and never rushed. Food quality was top notch, complex and satisfying flavors you would never get at home. Joey Aventura sums it up and offers a great reason to have a night out.
I recently visited Joey’s during my vacation in Miami on 5/31/26 and my waitress was Julianna. She was absolutely the best server i’ve had in a very long time! She helped with recommendations and was so patient. She was very busy throughout her shift but still attentive. I appreciate her kindness and friendliness while dealing with the public. Great job J & continue being you!
My dad and I were in a time crunch when we decided to dine in. Sofia was able to quickly get us seated and communicated to the other staff that we couldn’t stay long. Our server was Amalia and she was AMAZING to talk to. She got us everything we needed and was understanding of our situation. I highly recommend the truffle udon noodles with katsu chicken, it never fails to impress me.
Went to JOEY for the first time last year when I was in Toronto and really enjoyed the food. This year took my sister to Toronto and had to stop by and have JOEY… not once but twice as my sister absolutely loved their chicken Parmesan and ate her entire plate at both locations. On Saturday we went to try JOEY Aventura. Our parents had never been there and they were very happy with the service. From the moment you enter they offer you a glass as you wait for a table. We were seated close to the kitchen and enjoyed watching the preparation. They are very well organized. Our waitress was Lucy and we absolutely loved her. Her kindness, knowledge, professionalism and energy was phenomenal. The food and service were amazing. Different staff members also came to replenish water and see how we were doing. Food was excellent as always. They are very consistent in their food in all three locations. We will definitely be back at JOEY Aventura this weekend and asked for Lucy! Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional experience with delicious food and friendly staff members.
My experience at Joey Aventura was exceptional, and Ashley, one of the managers, truly made the evening unforgettable. As someone with a disability, I was incredibly grateful for the kindness and care she showed. Ashley went above and beyond by coming to find me, guiding me to a convenient parking spot near the elevator, and ensuring the restaurant was only a few steps away. She even escorted me from my car to my table. The food was excellent, but what stood out most was Ashley’s outstanding customer service, compassion, and attention to detail. If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy dinner there that night. Thank you, Ashley, for making me feel welcomed, supported, and valued.
We had a fantastic dinner at Joe’s Aventura! The service was excellent, our server Luis was incredibly nice, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. The food was outstanding. The udon truffle with chicken katsu was rich, flavorful, and perfectly executed, while the steak frites was cooked perfectly. Everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant! Great service and amazing food. We will definitely come back.
I had a great experience at Joey’s on Mother’s Day, I went with my children, and one of them are autistic. They accommodated us so well and made Artistic son feel extremely comfortable. Our server, Ashley was also an amazing help with getting a situated and making sure we were OK. I would definitely recommend her anytime any day you visit Joey’s.
We've had JOEY Southcenter on our 'must try' list for awhile and now changing it to a 'favorite' spot! The mini short ribs french dips are a perfect 2-3 bites... a must try!
